Back in The Desert!!

Well, I've been back a couple days now and I can say that I like the weather here just a bit better. I've gotten a few rounds in since I've been back. A little rusty after a week in blustery Minnesota, but a little range work and I should be back to normal. On another note I'd like to comment on how strange it is out here seeing all the Christmas lights when it feels like summer. (sorry, not trying to rub it in) Hopefully everyone back home is staying sane during the winter season! I hope all of you are doing well. Have a great Christmas and an even better New Year!!

Minnesota here I come!!

It's getting to be that time of year in the desert when work is slow and the weather is terrible. By terrible I mean it rains once every few days and the high temps are in the 50's. What can I say, the desert has made me soft. But, since work is slow my boss has been kind enough to let me head back to visit some family and friends for the next week. My flight is taking off tonight at 5:30 local time and should be arriving in blustery Minnesota around 10:30. I'm looking forward to seeing as many people as I can for my short vacation. On another note golf is going well still and my game is still sharp with improvements still to come. I hope you are all well and I hope you are all having a great holiday season!

Playin some good golf FINALLY!!

I got to play at The Q again today and despite a double bogey on a reachable par 5 managed to card another 2 under par 70. I've played 6 rounds of golf and haven't shot over par yet which is quite promising. Unfortunately I have to keep it going for through next season but confidence is high and i'm pretty excited. The weather again was perfect and you'll hear no complaints from me. I hope everyone back in the blustery north is doing well!

Played The Q Today!

After a day of sitting at work the boys upstairs let us go out and play the golf course. It was a great opportunity because we don't get to play much since we're open 7 days a week. All in all it was a great round of golf. I have some great pictures and a 2 under par round of 70 to show for it. Even though I left several putts in the heart, I am very pleased with my game since I've been in California. Hope you are all well!

Life in the Desert

I have been working at The Quarry in La Quinta for the last week now. Golf course has come through amazing! Work has been a little bit slow but thats to be expected this time a year. The weather has been perfect everyday minus one day where a few clouds actually moved in. I've been doing all my practicing at The Golf Club at Terra Lago. I'll usually go there in the afternoon around 2 or so and get a couple hours in. I head right down the block to 24 hr fitness afterward to hit the gym. All in all everything is going well and stay warm back home!!

I'm Back!

I'm finally glad to say that I'm back in the warmth and playing golf!!! I've been in La Quinta, California for a couple days and it's been great. I've already logged 12 or so practice hours in 3 days and I've played a few rounds of golf which were great. The weather is fantastic. We had our work meeting today at The Quarry. Work starts friday so its time to start making some money so next summer goes better than the last. Thanks for tuning in!! More pictures to come!

Time to get back at it.

I hit the road today! I am currently in Omaha, NE visiting some friends on my way out to California. It's exciting to think I'll be playing golf by FRIDAY! I love Minnesota to death, but it was clearly time to get back to the warmth. I chose to break my trip out into 3 days to make it a little easier. 2 15 hour sessions of driving isn't exactly fun. I'll probably head out tomorrow early and maybe stay in Oklahoma City. I'd like to stop off in Wichita and visit some more friends and hopefully play a round of golf. Stay tuned!

I actually have a website!

This is incredibly exciting. I've been working on this blog/website for about a week now and I think I finally have the kinks worked out. I'm trying to get the word out now to get people to follow. You can navigate to find about more about me and what I'm trying to accomplish. Also, I posted a paypal link for donations to help fund my tournaments. No matter who you are, every bit counts and words cannot express how much I appreciate all of you following my career. This is the next step to helping me get to where I have dreamed of being. I'm getting excited for the upcoming move. The weather of Minnesota is finally getting to me! I can't wait to get the sticks out and get back to work! Thanks again to all of you!

The Beginning

This is my first post on my blog page that isn't quite done yet. I'm just starting to get the word out. For those of you who know about this feel free to look around. I am going to post on here as much as possible to keep all of you involved in what I am doing. This page is an exciting start to something big. I'm very excited to be putting this together. Hopefully I can have it done before I leave for California. Ah, I cannot wait for the warmth again. My sticks and I need warmth and golf again. Minnesota isn't offereing me much so to warmer climates I go. The life of a pro. I wouldn't have it any other way.
